Chocolate Chip Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies – give your classic chocolate chip cookies a playful twist with chocolate sprinkles.

There’s no such thing as too many chocolate chip cookie recipes. I keep a dozen favorites and I’m always excited to try a new variation. Warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies are hard to beat.

Often a small change makes a familiar recipe feel new. In these cookies the unexpected addition of chocolate sprinkles gives each bite a little extra fun and texture. I usually buy the store brand sprinkles from my local grocery store, but many grocery aisles carry chocolate jimmies in different sizes and brands.

My five-year-old helped make these cookies and was thrilled to add the sprinkles — she would put them on everything if I let her. Sprinkles are one of those little touches that bring joy at any age, and adding more chocolate is rarely a bad idea.

These cookies were a hit with my whole family. The oats add a pleasant chew and texture, the chocolate chips deliver the familiar chocolatey goodness, and the chocolate sprinkles add a playful finish.
If you’re tired of the same basic chocolate chip cookie, try this version with sprinkles — it’s an easy way to refresh a classic and is sure to please.
