Easy Orange Creamsicle Cocktails

This cocktail tastes just like the nostalgic orange creamsicle popsicle—creamy, orange, and subtly vanilla. If you love that classic dessert-in-a-stick, you’ll enjoy this adult version.

The recipe blends a creamy vodka base with citrusy sparkling water to recreate the familiar flavor in a light, effervescent drink. It’s easy to scale up for a crowd and makes a cheerful addition to any warm-weather gathering.

These cocktails start with a flavored sparkling water. I used Cascade Ice Sparkling Water—a zero-calorie, sugar-free option available in many fruit-forward varieties. For this recipe I chose Orange Mango, which pairs beautifully with vanilla and cream flavors and helps replicate the popsicle profile.

While vanilla vodka works well, I recommend using whipped cream vodka for the best results. The whipped cream vodka adds a richer, creamier vanilla note than standard vanilla vodka, and that extra creamy mouthfeel brings the drink closer to the original treat.

One of the perks of this recipe is its flexibility. With many sparkling water flavors available, you can experiment—try different citrus, berry, or tropical options to discover new twists on the creamsicle concept. At a recent BBQ we offered several Cascade Ice flavors and let guests choose; it was fun to sample different combinations and every flavor worked nicely.

This cocktail is simple to make and comes together in minutes—perfect for last-minute entertaining or a casual night at home. The bright orange soda-like fizz balances the creamy vodka and half-and-half, while a dollop of whipped cream and an orange slice turn it into a playful, nostalgic drink.
