There’s an unmistakable pep in my step. I repeat: a pep in my step.
After a long winter, the daylight finally feels generous and I can’t sit still. Spring energy is in the air — maybe you feel it too.
Are you cranking up your favorite station, tapping along while you drive, or moving through the day with a little extra bounce? You’re not alone.
If sunshine and warmer weather haven’t quite lifted your spirits, this smoothie will. It boosts energy and supplies vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants thanks to golden beets and fruit.
This blend of golden beets, rolled oats, bananas, almond milk, coconut milk, and a pinch of cinnamon makes a creamy, satisfying meal-in-a-glass.
If you’re wary of vegetable-forward smoothies or aren’t a fan of oats in drinks, don’t worry — this isn’t one you’ll need to hold your nose for. It’s smooth, wholesome, and pleasantly refreshing. The oats add body and nutrition, but you can omit them if texture bothers you.
Add a little spring pep to your morning with a golden beet smoothie — give it a try!
