How did 2015 fly by so quickly? As the year closes, it’s always rewarding to look back at the recipes that resonated most with readers—the dishes you viewed, cooked, and loved the most. Our most popular recipes this year are familiar favorites; many were already crowd-pleasers in previous years and some even appeared on our Top 14 of 2014. Classics like Chocolate Lasagna and our Edible Egg-less Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough continue to be shared, remade, and celebrated in kitchens everywhere. In 2015 alone, our recipes were viewed over 20 million times—a milestone that humbles and excites us.
Reflecting on the past year, I’m reminded of why I started CenterCutCook four years ago. What began as a personal collection of tested recipes has grown into a community where home cooks find reliable, approachable, and delicious ideas. The steady growth we’ve seen each year is the result of your support: the cooks who try the recipes, the readers who leave thoughtful comments, and the people who share dishes with friends and family. That engagement is what keeps this site evolving and improving.
This year has been particularly meaningful on a personal level. Amid the everyday ups and downs of running a food site, my family faced significant health challenges. My husband has been fighting cancer, and our baby boy has been waiting for a liver and kidney transplant. The outpouring of support—messages, prayers, and encouragement—has meant more than words can say. Thank you to everyone who has followed our journey and offered kindness on our Team Ryan page.
With so much going on behind the scenes, producing new recipes consistently could have been impossible without help. I owe a huge thank you to the contributors who stepped in with creativity, skill, and dedication. Their hard work has allowed CenterCutCook to keep delivering mouth-watering, tested recipes week after week. Their recipes, photography, and recipe testing maintain the high standards our readers expect, and they play a vital role in keeping our content fresh and inspiring.
Looking ahead to 2016, I’m excited about what’s to come. Our plan is to build on the recipes you loved this year while introducing new ideas that are simple, dependable, and packed with flavor. We’ll continue to focus on approachable comfort foods, clever make-ahead options, and desserts that everyone will ask for again. Your feedback will help shape that direction, so please keep commenting, rating, and sharing what you try—your input helps us prioritize the recipes you want to see.
